It is easily mounted on a flush-mounted box using the supplied mounting plate and securely fixed by a slider. The connection is made via the I connection of any LCN module from version 140719 (July 2010). Description The two capacitive sensor surfaces are arranged behind a robust glass surface, available in thicknesses of five and three millimeters. A gentle touch of the surface is sufficient to trigger various functions. Each sensor surface is equipped with an integrated status LED that displays the current status of any actuators or sensors in the building. Four different states are possible. Additionally, the LCN-GT2 features a corona light ring with white LEDs that provides appealing wall illumination. To elegantly backlight the buttons, an LCN-NUI is required. This allows for comfortable operation even in low ambient light. The individual labels for the LCN-GT2 can be transferred onto a film or paper and placed through a small slot behind the glass surface. These labels can be updated at any time, allowing for flexible adjustment of the button layout. The reader supports NFC transponders of type ISO14443-A (Mifare/Legic) and ISO15693 (Legic).   The buttons behind a stable glass plate provide the familiar signals of short, long, and release in the LCN system, depending on the type of activation. This allows a doorbell to be activated or lights to be turned on. The labeling of the sensor surfaces is done individually via foil. One red LED per button signals any status in the system as on, blinking, or flickering. Using the integrated infrared receiver, up to twelve additional functions can be triggered with the LCN-RT remote control, transmitting a user-defined code and its serial number for identification.
