Isolation Amplifier The LCN-IS2 is the improved version of the LCN-IS isolation amplifier and offers even more efficient signal amplification for the LCN bus. Coupling and visualization module for connection to a network The LCN-VISU is a combined visualization and network coupling module for the LCN bus. Communication takes place via LAN with RJ45 or WLAN. The coupler includes the LCN-PCHK service. It is compatible with all LCN bus modules from firmware 0701... (January 1997). Application areas Typical application areas of the LCN-VISU are: Remote maintenance with LCN-PRO Visualization with LCN-GVS Coupling with PCK protocol Visualization with OpenHAB The LCN-VISU serves as network access to the LCN system in LCN systems. Through this access, the LCN system is parameterized by the installer or coupled to other systems across trades. Another application case is the connection of the LCN visualization to the PC. With the system software LCN-GVS, direct and bidirectional data exchange occurs between LCN system states and direct control commands from the visualization PC. The new integrated OpenHAB visualization is quickly set up; it is automatically generated based on the labels and comments in the PCN-Pro programming. A connection of all devices available for the OpenHAB standard is also easily possible. Function description The LCN-VISU supports two simultaneous PCHK connections to the LCN bus, allowing LCN-GVS and LCN-PRO to access the bus simultaneously. The PCHK monitor under Windows serves optionally for further configuration and monitoring of the LCN-VISU. For the third connection to the LCN bus, a full version LCN-PCHK license must be entered via the PCHK monitor. Each additional connection requires an upgrade license. Coupling LCN-PCKTo bring the data of a third-party application onto the LCN bus via LCN-PCK, this software is required. It buffers incoming and outgoing commands and messages, checks and translates them. The TCP/IP network is used as the communication link. This protocol works with simple ASCII character strings.
