It allows for the doubling of the I connection and can also be combined with up to two LCN-IVH adapters to extend the range of the I connection with IY(ST)Y 2x2x0.8mm up to 50m. The LCN-IVH additionally acts as a pulse sensor that evaluates a 5V signal via potential-free contacts.
