It also provides the option to connect a PC directly via a USB connection to the segment bus and the local LCN bus. The LCN-SKU is an intelligent LCN bus module and features a processor with a buffer that ensures loss-free data transmission. It is typically mounted on a DIN rail in distribution cabinets. Application Areas The LCN-SKU is used to couple multiple LCN buses in large systems. Each individual LCN bus consists of a maximum of 250 intelligent LCN modules. These LCN modules represent an LCN segment. Up to 120 of these individual LCN segments can be coupled, allowing for up to 30,000 intelligent LCN modules to be used per object.
